1. Types of data we collect
- Website & marketing:
- Page visits, basic analytics (IP, browser, device, referrer).
- Form submissions (name, email, company, role, message).
- Product / app:
- Business data uploaded by customers (order data, SKUs, revenue, costs, fees, shipping, returns, discounts, ad spend, etc.).
- Account data (name, business email, role, login activity).
- Support & communication:
- Emails, chat messages, support tickets.

- To provide and maintain the AIXE service (profit calculations, dashboards, alerts, reports).
- To communicate with customers about the product (onboarding, updates, support).
- To improve the product (aggregated usage analytics, feature performance).
- To comply with legal obligations (billing, tax, security, data protection).
3. Data ownership
- Customers remain the sole owners of their business and financial data.
- AIXE acts as a data processor with limited rights to process the data only:
- to provide the service, and
- to generate anonymised, aggregated statistics to improve the product.
4. Data sharing
- No selling of customer data to third parties.
- Third-party processors only where necessary (hosting provider, error tracking, analytics, payment processor).
- All third-party processors must provide appropriate security and data-protection standards.
5. Data retention & deletion
- Account data is retained while the account is active.
- Customer-uploaded business data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service.
- On request or account closure, customer can:
- export core data sets, and
- request deletion of stored data within a defined timeframe, except where retention is required by law.
6. User rights (GDPR-style)
- Right to access their data.
- Right to correct / update.
- Right to delete (subject to legal obligations).
- Right to restrict processing for certain purposes.
